United Methodist Women is a commmunity of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.  Membership is open to any woman who indicates a desire to belong and to participate in the global mission of the church through United Methodist Women.  Joining this group of committed women is a unique opportunity - no matter who you are or where in your life you are at this moment - to move in harmony with other women who have been responding to this purpose for more than 100 years.

UMW Subgroups

Agape Circle
The Agape Circle includes mature women whose children are beyond high school.  We meet year round on the third Wednesday of each month for programs or tours.

Miriam Circle
This group is mission oriented and active with the Pick-a-Dilly Crafts Fair and the Table Top Luncheon.  Whether our meetings involve visiting missions or are in someone's home, we always have fun, food, and fellowship.  We meet on the third Wednesday of each month.

Working Women's Circle
This group meets in the evenings to accommodate working women.  We are community service oriented and meet in the Parlor on the second Thursday of each month through May.

Mission Opportunities

One of the primary functions of United Methodist Women is its mission emphasis.  To raise money for missions, this group sponsors different events like the Pick-a-dilly Craft Fair and the UMW Style Show.
