As a group we commit to:

SUPPORT one another though nurturing relationships

CELEBRATE our role as mothers, baby arrivals, birthdays, accomplishments, and life's happenings

UPLIFT one another and grow closer to God through the power of prayer

LOVE God, ourselves, each other, and our families

LEARN through a variety of programming including informative speakers and a faith-based study relevant to today's moms

We meet every Friday from 9:30-11:30am in room E221/E222 following the KISD calendar and are dialed in on the needs of moms with children ages newborn through elementary school. MYC offers social activities including mom's night out, family nights, play dates and more!

This fall, MYC is thrilled to present a renown biblically based parenting program on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month. "Mom to Mom Growing Together: Growing a Child= Growing a Mom." The program includes quality instruction in parenting, small group discussion, and the interaction of more experienced mothers with younger moms. Our goal is growth not only in our parenting skills but also in our wholeness as women intellectually, relationally, and spiritually. Topics include:

• When You're Running on Empty
• Three Gifts I'd like to Give Every Mom
• Taming the Top 10 Marriage Monsters Who's the Parent Here?
• Everyday Crossroads: Choices and Consequences for Parents and Children

Fees for the 2011/2012 year include all books, materials, and childcare. Scholarships are available. Flexible payment options are available for those interested.
