There are six blood drives each year conducted by the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center. They are held on Sunday mornings, 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Sign up in the lobby on the two Sundays preceding each drive. For more information, call the church office at 281.492.8031.

GOD LOVES GIVERS
The second blood drive of 2012 is on Sunday, March 4, 2012. Sign-ups are on Sundays, February 19, and February 26, 2012. Check-in for the Drive will be in the Lobby from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Why should YOU donate blood? Because you can save up to three lives with your blood donation! Only your voluntarily donated blood can be used for patients in need of blood! Over 1,000 units of blood are needed daily in the 26-county Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center area. For 2012, the units needed for the year are 337,000!
IF NOT YOU, WHO? IF NOT NOW, WHEN?
St. Peter's has been having blood drives since at least 1989 but there are records of donation numbers only since June of 1993. Since that time the blood donors of St. Peter's have donated 14, 735 units and saved up to 44,205 lives!! WOW! Thanks to all donors!
Let's Continue our Commitment! Please plan to donate on March 4, 2012. Sign-ups will be before and after all morning services on February 19 and February 26. Sign up then or feel free to email Marsha to make your appointment. Contact Marsha .
Remember, every donor who makes an appointment (by Wednesday afternoon, February 29,) and shows up and donates on March 4, gets an additional 100 points to use in the CFL Store.
Here is something that may help you remember and for sure it will spread the word: On March 4 wear your favorite Commit for Life Blood Center t-shirt to church and Sunday School and to donate. Let everyone know of the need to Commit for Life and donate their life-saving blood.
