May we pray for you?

St. Peter's Mission Statement

We are God's children who joyfully
share the accepting grace
we have received through
our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
by reaching out through worship,
study, fellowship, and
service in our community
and the world.

Our Purpose
The organized unit of UNITED METHODIST WOMEN shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know GOD and to experience freedom as whole persons through JESUS CHRIST: to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Membership is open to any woman who indicates a desire to belong and to participate in the global mission of the church through United Methodist Women. Joining this group of committed women is a unique opportunity - no matter who you are or where in your life you are at this moment - to move in harmony with other women who have been responding to this Purpose for over one hundred years.

Subgroups

Agape
The Agape Circle includes mature women whose children are beyond high school.
We meet year round on the third Wednesday of each month for programs
or tours sometimes lasting beyond the lunch hour.

Crafty Christians
Bring your own needlework, craft/hobby project and enjoy conversation,
coffee, and fellowship with others while you work. Come when you can, leave when you need to.  We meet on the second Wednesday of each month or after lunch when a mission study is scheduled.

Miriam
This group is mission oriented and active with Pick-a-Dilly and the Table Top Luncheon.
Whether our meetings visiting missions or are in someone's home, we always have fun, food, and fellowship. Meets on the third Wednesday of each month.

Mission Opportunities
One of the primary functions of United Methodist Women is its mission emphasis. To raise money this group sponsors the annual craft fair Pick-a-dilly. For information or to download a booth application form click on Pick-a-dilly Application or Pick-a-dilly Guidelines.
